Trevor McCormick, Managing Partner. Trevor directs Foster Partners from their Headquarters in Shanghai. Foster Partners was established in 1989 as the successor to KPMG Peat Marwick’s US Executive Search practice. In order to further develop and manage its business in Asia, Foster Partners moved their Global Headquarters to Hong Kong in 1999 and subsequently to Shanghai in 2001.

Prior to establishing Foster Partners in Asia, Trevor McCormick was Director in Charge of KPMG Hong Kong’s Executive Recruitment practice. Trevor’s personal areas of functional expertise include Global C-level positions for major Chinese companies going global, plus Asia President, Managing Director and General Management (Finance, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, Sales and Marketing, HR and Supply Chain) at senior leadership positions. His primary client focus has been in serving both Chinese and Western multi-national companies in the various renewables and industrial segments.

Trevor McCormick has executive search experience in all major Asia and US centers, but specifically in China where he was a pioneer in the executive search industry in the early 1990’s and more recently as the Chinese companies have been developing globally. He is the recipients of many honors and awards, has published numerous articles related to the recruitment and retention of leadership in China and is a regular guest speaker and panelist at prominent events both in Asia and North America. Prior to joining KPMG Hong Kong, Trevor had a sixteen year career with HBOS PLC in the UK.
